SO Natural was founded by stylist Stacy Odwell who has been working in the hair industry for almost 20 years.

Stacy’s primary motivation for working with extensions came from a strong belief in the positive effect that hair extensions can have on women’s confidence, especially if they have suffered hair loss. After trialling current methods on the market, she became focused on perfecting an approach that not only used the highest quality hair, but that was also kind to clients’ hair & scalp.

Stacy first came across hand-tied extensions in the US over 10 years ago. Totally fascinated, she brought them home & started incorporating them into her work & was blown away by how much better they were than machine-tied wefts. She was surprised to find that she was unable to source these closer to home, so dedicated herself to working with suppliers in the UK & Europe to perfect this type of weft using the highest quality Slavic hair. The process took two years to perfect & launched as “Natural X” in 2010. Today, under the brand name SO Natural, Stacy is not only able to offer the benefits of hand-tied wefts to her own private clients, but also teach her methods to stylists & salons across the UK & beyond.

The SO Natural approach is a result of Stacy’s long-standing experience mixed with her passion for how the combination of the highest quality hair & hand-tied wefts can deliver the most flawlessly beautiful natural effect.
